FOR THE 1ST WEEK

WE WORKED ON THE DESIGN PROPOSAL 

THINK ABOUT THE DESIGN IDEA, 

SO I CAME OUT TWO IDEA 

1ST IS ABOUT "FLOWER"

So basically flower is vivid. it will change their condition day by day.

And colourful as well, different colour represents a different mood. 

So I was thinking that flower might an "emotion consultant" to people.

People may able to talk to them and even entertain people,

 they are not able to talk, but listening. 

2ND IS ABOUT "WEDDING"

Wedding is amazing and maybe the greatest moment in somebody's life.

And it may need to capture the moment in advance and create the scene for them.

So maybe once the camera press the button, it could give people to memory back to the greatest moment in their life,

not only the day of the wedding. 

Like a scene for them to look back. 

For the Design Preposition week 1, we did a forum. 

FORUM 01: Designing interiors is no longer only about materials, finishes, space planning and beautiful furniture; but it is now looking into how people work, integrating systems thinking with activities etc. What is your opinion?

Design should be for people, not for designers. We need to consider more on the client's need for what purpose and integrate it into our design. To be more detailed and considerate to the client will be essential. "The design is not rocket science, but the creation of services for people, who we are. Very often designers exalt themselves over users, although we have the same basic motives, habits, and needs." This is a Russian Interior designer who said that, I really agreed with that. We should more be looking and thinking more deeply about client's perspectives to service them.
